Over time and as we age, our skin loses elasticity and volume. The lines that run from the sides of the nose toward the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds) and the lines that run from the corner of your mouth toward the chin (marionette lines) become more noticeable and pronounced. HOW DO RESTYLANE® REFYNE AND RESTYLANE® DEFYNE DIFFERENTIATE FROM OTHER FACIAL FILLERS?
While there are other fillers on the market that improve fine lines and wrinkles, Restylane® Refyne and Defyne give a more natural look than previously thought possible. Patients do not want to look like they had facial procedures to enhance their appearance; they just want to look naturally rejuvenated and refreshed. Restylane® Refyne and Defyne are the only fillers available which have been shown in clinical trials to help maintain natural movement and expressions. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RESTYLANE® REFYNE AND RESTYLANE® DEFYNE?
During your consultation with Dr. Rajendra Shah, and Dr. Samir Shah, we will determine which product will work best for you. Restylane® Refyne treats more moderate to severe wrinkles and folds. Restylane® Defyne is best for deeper facial wrinkles that occur in the marionette lines and nasolabial folds.
IS IT PAINFUL?
Facial fillers contain Lidocaine, which will numb the area once injected. Lidocaine is also applied to the skin prior to the injection to provide a more comfortable treatment to those sensitive areas.*
IS IT SAFE?
Restylane® Refyne and Restylane® Defyne are FDA-approved. They also contain hyaluronic acid, which the body produces naturally. Restylane® is proven to deliver safe and effective results.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER THE TREATMENT?
Results can be seen directly after the procedure. Slight bruising and swelling may occur but is very minimal. Touch-ups may be done about once a year as needed to maintain your results.*
