Rajendra R. Shah, M.D., has practiced in the Chicago area for most of his medical career. After receiving his M.D. in India, Dr. Shah completed his internship at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. He also completed a surgery residency locally before entering the plastic surgery residency program at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. After finishing his residency, Dr. Shah returned to the Chicago area where he opened his private practice and has been a member on staff at Christ Hospital since 1983.

Dr. Shah served as a clinical instructor while at Ohio State University, and has been assistant professor in the department of plastic surgery at Rush Medical College in Chicago and clinical assistant professor in the department of surgery at the University of Illinois since opening his practice.

Dr. Shah is a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, Lipoplasty Society of North America, and the American Academy of Skin Science. He has made numerous professional presentations and authored several articles on plastic surgery.

Dr. Shah resides in the Chicago suburbs with his wife, two sons and one daughter.
